Vivo introduces the Vivo Y15s, a stylish and affordable Android smartphone. The Y15s has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with an impressive pixel density of 270 PPI. The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 chipset and ships with Android v11 (Go edition). A 5000mAh battery, which is standard for entry-level phones, is also included. The Vivo Y15s is offered in a variety of colors. The front of the phone is made of glass and plastic. The phone has a lightweight and slim body. The Vivo Y15s includes a quad-core 1.3GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. On the phone’s left side are a micro USB charging port, a headphone jack, and a SIM card slot. Additionally, the device supports GLONASS and Wi-Fi. The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The camera is passable. However, it performs poorly in low-light environments. In addition, the camera cannot detect the subject’s edges in portrait shots. In addition, it can produce grainy images. The camera also adds a yellow tint to nighttime photographs. However, the camera’s pro mode can improve nighttime photos.
The Vivo Y15s operates on Android v11 (Go Edition) and Funtouch 11.1 Operating System. Although Funtouch 11.1 is not a full version of Android 11, it does include some bloatware. However, if you are accustomed to another operating system, switching to Funtouch shouldn’t be difficult. The phone is also equipped with a compass, accelerometer, and fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo Y15s has dual rear-facing cameras. The primary camera has a 13-megapixel sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and PDAF. The secondary camera has a 2MP, f/2.4 sensor. Additionally, the Vivo Y15s has a front-facing 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0. Additionally, the camera features an aperture mode that helps to blur the subject’s edges. Using the bouquet mode, the camera can capture artistic images.
Additionally, the Vivo Y15s includes a 5000 mAh battery. The battery capacity is impressive and should last for the entire day. The battery is non-removable and 5W reverse charging is supported. Additionally, the phone includes a microSD card slot for expandable storage. Additionally, the phone has an FM radio receiver. The Vivo Y15s is compatible with 2G, 3G, and 4G networks.
The Vivo Y15s provides an excellent balance of performance and features. The phone’s display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a waterdrop notch. Face unlock is also compatible with the phone. In addition, the phone has a respectable processor, a 5000 mAh battery, and an IPS LCD display. In addition to a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, and GLONASS, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Additionally, a Kids Mode app is available. The smartphone is equipped with a compass, accelerometer, A-GPS, and GLONASS. Additionally, there is a super battery saver mode.
The Vivo Y15s features two impressive AI cameras. The primary camera takes acceptable photos in broad daylight but struggles to detect the edges of portrait subjects. The selfie camera takes excellent photos in well-lit environments.
