A quad-core processor in a phone is unusual. The HTC One X is one of the first phones to use Qualcomm’s fourth-generation Snapdragon S4 processor. This processor is built on a new 28nm process. It’s also quick and energy efficient. When combined with a 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor, you will have a snappy experience. The HTC One X has a 4.7-inch HD (720p) screen. Corning Gorilla Glass is used to make the display, designed to provide excellent viewing angles. A white polycarbonate shell shields it. The screen itself is razor-sharp. It’s also quite bright. The HTC One X has two microphones. It also has a noise reduction system that can filter out background noise. This feature is helpful for incoming phone calls.
The battery on the HTC One X held up to moderate use. It had a 35% charge at bedtime and lasted an entire day of moderate use. It comes with an 1800 mAh battery that should last a week. However, this is insufficient for a full day of heavy use. Smartphone battery life has always been an issue. The large screen consumes a significant amount of power.
The camera on the HTC One X is quite good. It has an 8-megapixel sensor that is great for still images and Full HD video. There are two shooting modes available: HDR and panorama. In addition, the camera has a 0.2-second autofocus. It also has a fish-eye effect that you can adjust to change the image’s angle. You can also tap the screen to change the focus, and the camera app is designed to take photos while recording videos.
The HTC One X includes HTC Sense 4.0, which significantly improves the image-making experience. You can have separate video and shutter buttons and launch the camera app without having to unlock the home screen. It also has a rewind feature and an HDR mode to help you capture better images.
You can also record video at 1080p at 30 frames per second. During the recording process, you can also record audio. The audio on the HTC One X is quite good. It has a punchy bass and a lot of detail. You should wear headphones when listening to music.
The HTC One X includes 25GB of Dropbox storage, which can be extended for up to two years. You will also have access to a large number of apps. Instagram, Google Maps, Netflix, Facebook, and others are among them. You will also have access to the HTC Sync Manager, which will assist you in syncing your photos, music, and videos to your computer. You’ll also have access to iTunes and Windows Media Player.
While the HTC One X does not have the same level of automation as Apple’s iCloud, you can still share photos and videos with other devices. This feature is compatible with Android and iOS, and you can also use Dropbox to share music and videos.
