Blocking a number on your phone is as easy as tapping on a button in your handset’s settings menu. The process may vary depending on your specific model, but the steps are generally the same. Once you have blocked the number, the person cannot call you. To add more than one number to the block list, tap the menu button.
To block a number on Android, tap the number to block. To add another number, tap the ellipsis icon, or scroll down the screen to the Block List tab. Once there, enter the phone number you’d like to block. Your phone will then send all text messages from that number to your voicemail.
If the number is blocked on Facebook, the contact will no longer be able to contact you. However, it will not show up in your call history. So, you’ll have to be extra careful when answering your phone. When someone messages you, they may think it’s an unsolicited call.
Blocking a number on Android differs from device to device. Google Pixel 5 users can block calls from their phone’s Phone app by following these steps. To do so, you must be running the stock version of Android 11. Then, go to the Phone app, tap “More Options” and then “Settings” and then “Blocked Numbers”.
Blocking a number on Android is a simple process. Select the number that’s bothering you and select the block icon. After this, you’ll see a verification message. Once you’ve blocked the number, it will no longer be able to contact you. You can also block unknown numbers on Android, which will prevent any unwanted calls.
